My writing Process
When I'm in the Zone, I tend to come up with lyrics really fast.
Usually I type on my laptop - it's the easiest way for my fingers to keep up with my mind and I'm terrible with paperwork.
Once the first draft is done, I'll continuously go over my lyrics in waves - adding internals, fixing parts that don't fit the theme, improving on the flow.
A lyric sheet can look something like this:

Everything that's highlighted is in the current draft - as you can see, I
probably have enough material for two more songs in here!
(Though they wouldn't be very good)
After I have a draft I like, I'll get it memorised so I can record or perform it live.
(Tip for memorising lyrics: practice without the Beat). Usually a lot more editing happens here.
Usually the more I have going on in my life, the easier I find it to write... though sometimes I get overwhelmed and can't write anything.
That happened about two months ago! Terrible.
Now I'm out of my writers block and keep having new ideas for lyrics when I'm supposed to be recording, mixing and mastering... ugh.
