Sami recorded a Hook and a Verse on the Dragon Style Beat.
The Hook alternates between a soft voice, representing a child showing off a coin it found in the street, and a rough aggressive voice, representing a rich man boasting about his wealth.
We will probably release this as an alternative version of Dragon Style eventually.
After listening to a lot of Daft Punk over the Summer I decided and to experiment with a Vocoder.
This Song didn't fit on ONESHOT due to its structure and also didn't suit my next upcoming project, so you won't be able to hear the full version for a while... but if you listen to Static-A 1:24 might seem familiar.
I really want to release this... really love what I did with the instrumental, and any chance to shoutout Lucas Hatton is a win for me.
I made this Beat in China!
It was used in the MFM trailer.
The initial version was much too simple... having two different samples going really livened it up.
Static-A wasn't originally going to be on Oneshot at all!
But after I made the trailer with the "Static" sound effect, I decided it would be cool to integrate it into a song.
This is an old beta version of the beat... the song went through a lot of changes.
The tune itself is heavily inspired by Clipse Chains & Whips
Although the title is a reference to Static-E (Piugravemusic was my childhood).
