Music For Munich: the Score

Once upon a time, the craziest Rappers you've never heard of headlined Lost Weekend together with a Live Band.

To help the band learn our Songs, I converted our Beats into Sheet Music - here are some examples!

We weren't sure if we were going to be able to find a Trumpeter for the Band, so "Option A" was to have Ayano (our keyboardist) play it with a brass sound... very glad we ended up getting Kaoru!

I really like this beat... not too tough to transcribe. We had Ayano use a funky Organ Effect when playing.

Get Up by DJ Shaban

The boys had a lot of short songs with simple, repeating beat patterns - so lots to learn and memorise, but individual songs weren't that tough for the band.

Intro by Bossvonchef

This Song took a while to get down rhythmically as a Band - we kept getting out of time.

Finding a suitable bassline here took a while because of how... floaty the original is. Listen for yourself.

Feeling Gud by Sanduna

Again, songs that were mostly very simple structurally, with some ambient & rhythmically complex elements that were tough to transcribe.
